Critical Care

Posted on Updated on

This is our AICU – Adult ICU

Our Critical Care Unit which comprises of AICU – Adult ICU, PICU-Pediatric ICU, and CCU-Coronary Care Unit with staffs from: Philippines, India and Egypt.

Transitioning from being a Hemodialysis Nurse to ICU Nurse is kind of difficult. 1st and foremost, I really have no idea on how to handle the machines and almost forgot medication calculations and emergency drugs. From focusing on renal to medical-surgical was quiet hard at first.. but  with practice, critical thinking and studying. I am catching up and enjoying being an ICU Nurse. 🙂

Maybe i’ll proceed on being in ICU or i can go back to Hemodialysis.. whatever opportunities come my way. I’m very open for adjustment and learning. It’s fun to learn. Bring on the challenge! ^_^
